What do you get when you cross spinach, with 1/2 a wheat hamburger bun and some egg whites? My breakfast! I thought it was evident by last night’s dinner that I desperately need a trip to the grocery store…

and obviously there was some Texas Pete involved…

Today is exciting because not only is it Friday (which is always exciting!), but also because I am headed to the A-T-izzle to see one of my best friends from college! (Well, 2 of them, but 1 is visiting all the way from Cali). The last time I saw Alison was last summer during our girls trip to LA!

Please excuse me while I flashback to one of the best girls trips ever…

We rode the coaster on Santa Monica Pier

Visited the beach in Mailbu

Ate sushi at Katsuya (any Hills fans? They’ve eaten here ;)) and experienced a full night of LA nightlife

Hiked Runyon

and, oh, no biggie, were on Jimmy Kimmel LIVE

I look star struck, right? Haha! And these were just a few highlights… we also stayed at The Roosevelt, saw the Hollywood sign, went on a star tour of homes (which was actually really fun!), spent some time in a Vod Box (a giant freezer where you taste different vodkas), hung out on Rodeo Dr and so much more!

Ok, I’m so excited to see Alexis and Alison now!

But first, a little work and a little runnin’.

So I learned the hard way that eating fresh is not the best way to make up time on a road trip…

Oh well, 25 minutes later (for real!!) I was back in tbd car with my half turkey sub, wishing I wood have picked up some baked lays too!

Which inevitably led to a Starbucks stop for a nonfat java chip frap!

Almost to the A! 🙂

I also picked up some more of these from Starbucks… They taste like candy! It makes me want a dehydrator.
