A whole wheat deli thin, topped with 1 Tbsp 1/3 reduced fat Philadelphia chive cream cheese, 1 egg and 1 egg white scrambled with red peppers, spinach and onions. On the side, watermelon (YUM) and a cup of decaf coffee with 1/4 c almond milk.
I don’t recommend just plain almond milk in coffee. I need a little something sweet in there, too!

Yesterday afternoon I got the opportunity to go check out Flex + Fit in Charlotte.
I had so much fun exploring their new concept that I lost track of time and left with a growling stomach. Luckily, I had one of these Kashi bars in the car.
…which held me over until I got home to snack on this:

I think my sodium total is lower than it should be because I added salt to my potatoes. Other than that- it looks like a picture perfect day of eats to me! I really ought to do a ‘What {we} Ate on Saturday’ edition… it might show you that I’m not a perfect eater all the time 😉 Weekends are a little more loosey goosey.

I’m amazed at your nutrition stats. I don’t calorie count, but I feel like I ate so much more than you do now even at the very beginning of my pregnancy. Everyone’s different, I guess, though, right?:)

Yes, I’ve gotten a few comments on my calorie levels, and here’s my thoughts. I’m only 5’1″, so I’m not very big (normally ;)). I’m gaining plenty of weight and baby D is healthy. The doctor says I’m right on track. I don’t try to end up at a certain calorie level- I simply eat when I’m hungry and try to put the most nutritious foods possible in my body. I let my body be my guide on if I need to eat more or not. Like I mentioned, I should do a weekend version of WIAW because I tend to eat more of weekends.
Thanks for your feedback, and I think you’re right- everyone is different! I just wanted to give my thoughts on the matter so others could read them as well, since it isn’t the first time I’ve gotten a question about my calorie level. 🙂

I’m way more loosey goosey with what I eat on Saturday’s too. Monday-Friday I try to eat really healthy and then Saturday is my splurge day. Not that I ate terrible on Saturday but I don’t feel bad if I eat something I don’t normally during the week.
