I’m almost FULL TERM! Well, what my doctors around here consider to be full term, which is 36 weeks. I’m 35 weeks and 3 days pregnant and I feel as though I could pop any day. However, I could be pregnant for another 4+ weeks. That really messes with my mind 🙂
I have a doctor appointment today and I’m so excited. It’s the first time they’ll check my progress! I realize it’s probably silly to get excited about because most likely there won’t be any progress, but still, it’s fun to know we’re getting to that point!
- Total Weight Gained: 28.5 lbs
- Times I have to Pee a Night: 1-2
- Baby D’s Size: a whopping 5.5 lbs according to Baby Center
- Cravings: Pretty healthy, actually… fruit, vegetables, lemon water & peanut butter chips (Ok, so the Reese’s chips aren’t exactly ‘healthy’)
- Workouts per Week: 5! walking, elliptical, weights & yoga
- Number of Grunting Sounds I make Daily Trying to Move Around: 1,495
Now for the fun…
It’s BABY POOL TIME!
You have been so supportive for the past 9 months and patient in listening to my baby ramblings. I really appreciate your kindness and can’t wait to share Baby D’s sex, name and cute little face with you!
So much so, that I’m going to give away a $50 Visa gift card to the person who wins Baby D’s baby pool! How do you enter?
Simply go to Baby D’s Baby Pool at bebepool.com/briannsta (no www, it won’t let me automatically link to it- sorry!) and enter your guess for the sex, birthday, birth time, weight, etc. Then, become impatient with me as I wait for Baby D to make an appearance 🙂 I’ll contact the winner after s/he is here and mail you your prize!
Some fun facts to know going in:
- Official estimated due date : September 6, 2011
- David (Hubbs) is 1 of 2 boys
- I have one brother
- My mom was 2 weeks early with my brother and 2 weeks late with me
- I’ve always had dark, wavy hair, but Hubbs was bright blond for most of his childhood.
*You must enter by this coming Monday, August 8, at midnight in order to be eligible.
Good luck and THANK YOU for your constant support!

It’s only my pleasure – I like coming back to your blog 🙂
Here in SA, doctors consider full term as 40 weeks. I walked till 42 weeks and then only delivered with both my babies. Sooooo uncomfortable.
You look good, from day one till now. Pregnancy sure do you good.

How fun! I just entered your pool. I cannot believe most people think you’re having a boy. I’m so convinced it’s a girl 🙂 And you may hate me when you see the due date I picked, but only b/c 9/10/11 is just soooo cool!
You look amazing, and your workouts continue to impress me. Good luck at the doctor!

Such a cute pool idea!! P.S. I didn’t get a chance to comment on your post yesterday but I thought it was very thoughtful and well-written. Not that I’ve ever put much thought into birth plans of any sort, but I’d never thought about the whole “being present” thing and I thought that was SUCH an important consideration. I hope everything goes well 🙂

Wow you have grown so much! I entered for fun 🙂 Can’t wait to find out for real 😛

Wow, how exciting that you are full term! 😀 Major kudos to you for still doing it up in the gym- I love it! Isn’t it insane how much our bellies grew from 18-28 weeks. I remember thinking my bump was so big when I was at 16 weeks. Not so much! I’m excited for the baby pool- I hope I win! 🙂

What a fun idea!
Also, I just realized I guessed “girl” for the gender, but guess a boy’s name…I can blame that on pregnancy brain, right? 🙂

Congrats! Entered my guess.

Brittany! Oh my goodness, it’s been awhile! I’m so glad to hear everything is going well with your pregnancy. Cheers to nearing the end of your third trimester! I get excited just reading about your excitement. 🙂 It’s really awesome that you’ve been able to stay so committed to your workouts…You’re truly an inspiration!
I’m going to go enter the baby pool now. Have a wonderful weekend!

So, I must be tired or something because I literally just spent 30 seconds to a minute trying to figure out what Reese’s chips were – I was picturing pringles, but chocolate and peanut butter. Oooooh, jeez. Don’t worry, I gotcha now.
Molly @ Duchess of Fork says
So fun! I totally guessed the same height and time as Julia, but not weight (she was too tiny…hopefully your baby will have a little more meat on his/her bones!). Best of luck with everything.
